How to get help from Home-Start
Support from Home-Start
Our Volunteers can help with looking after children inside the home or take them out with parental permission. They can accompany parents to appointments and look after the children and can also help with getting out and about to play at the park or attend local groups. Our volunteers work closely with the families to determine what support is needed.

Our Groups
Nurture Groups in Perth and Auchterarder
Our Nurture Groups are a safe space for parents and children, with a focus on parental wellbeing and support. The friendly and supportive groups give parents a chance to talk openly, freely and with no judgement. The groups are inspirational and fun so each week we do a different activity whether it be some pilates, crafts or mindfulness. There is also lots of lovely toys for the wee ones to play with and always time for a cuppa and a biscuit!
Our Perth group is at our offices at 5A Atholl Place, Perth, PH1 5ND, where we have created a child friendly, welcoming space.
Our Auchterarder group is at St Margaret’s Hospital, PH3 1JH
