Minister for Public Health Visits Breast Buddies

Jenni Minto, the Minister for Public Health and Women’s Health recently visited one of our Breast Buddies groups and got to see first hand how our groups work and the vital support they provide.

Jenni came along to our group at Perth Royal Infirmary, along with visiting the midwifery unit, she met some of our fantastic volunteers and some of our supported Mums. Though we think the smiley babies were the main attraction! 

It was an honour to show her how Breast Buddies can not only have a great impact on a mothers feeding journey but also act as a safe space to form friendships, gain support and just take a minute for themselves.
