This year we decided to do something completely different for our Family Fun Day – we were so lucky to be able to take our families to Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre – who generously donated free entry for us all. It was a fantastic day with families able to do their own thing and enjoy the park together as well as making new friends along the way. The park has recently added a new Australia exhibition so it was exciting to see the Wallaby’s and the Ostriches – both of whom were very friendly and quite happy to walk right past us (much to Leanne’s panic!). We enjoyed a lovely packed lunch from Touchdown Café which everyone agreed was great quality and our water was generously donated from Highland Spring so we really were very lucky! A big thank you to Docherty’s Midland Coaches too for their lovely bus that took us to and from the park and to their amazing driver who was so helpful and fun!
