Trustee Treasurer Wanted
Home Start-Perth and Kinross currently has a vacancy for a Trustee Treasurer
Trustees undertake a wide range of roles but are mainly responsible for making the charity effective, providing overall direction and maintaining sound management of funds. For Treasurer we are looking for people with experience in Finance, Accounting and fundraising.
Trustees help make decisions and guide the charity to deliver the best possible service for the families it supports. Being a trustee can be hard work, but it is also very rewarding, giving many opportunities for personal development and the chance to give something back to your local community.

Home-Start Perth and Kinross is an independent charity, but we are affiliated to the national organisation Home-Start UK which means that trustees can also access national training, networking and support.

What does it involve?
You will need to commit to six meetings a year. In between board meetings you will be responding to emails and reading papers and perhaps attending another one or two other meetings.

We need a range of experience and perspectives on what we do to improve our decisions and strengthen our organisation. Our aim is that together we proactively encourage inclusion and equality through our policies, service design, staff management and sustainable finances.
